“I first met Jordan Gibbs when I was giving a clinic at the Colorado Horse Park on a cold February day many years ago. She was a small, novice kid on a cute pony. She impressed me right off the bat with her endless questions and thirst for knowledge.
Over the years I have watched her grow and blossom into an amazing young rider that has excelled at the top national finals in hunters, jumpers and equitation on numerous horses.
I have had the pleasure of judging her at the best competitions and have been impressed with her resilience and ability to be a team player, as well as a great sport, win or lose!
Jordan will go far in this world as she continues to strive to better herself through hard work, determination and continuing education.
She would be a great asset to any college riding team as she more than checks all the boxes!”

“I cannot mention the name Jordan Gibbs without a big, goofy grin moving across my face. I have had the joy and privilege of teaching Ms. Gibbs AP Human Geography. While teaching Ms. Gibbs I quickly learned that she has a great ambition and hunger for life and learning, which is one of her most precious qualities. In fact, teaching Jordan has reminded me why I got involved in this profession to start. Jordan has the potential and drive to take on and accomplish any goal she sets. She is a fierce competitor with a kind and genuine demeanor. She has a joy and enthusiasm for life that not only draws people to her, but also permeates through her work. I look forward to watching her professional career grow.”

“Since our introduction in 2018, I have been impressed with both Jordan Gibbs’ work ethic and ability as an athlete, and I have told her that she always has a job with me. I have seen a multitude of young riders through their junior equestrian careers, but only a few are willing to get in the weeds as much as Jordan Gibbs. Jordan understands that peak performance takes a village—horse, rider, trainer, sports medicine vet, farrier, etc—and she dedicates time to each area to soak up as much information as she can.
She will make an incredible D1 athlete because she has innate skill, as well as the ability to listen and incorporate her learnings. In a very short time, she’s become an invaluable vet tech for me at Beacon Hill and other barns, and I am impressed by how quickly she anticipates what needs to be done before I ask. After she sees a case with me, she knows when to ask smart, thoughtful questions that show she really “gets it.”
Starting in 2018, I have been her sports medicine vet for her equitation horses in New Jersey and Wellington FL. She is a hard working and dedicated owner and rider. She is at every evaluation appointment, asking me to explain the theory behind the veterinary treatments, and what can make the horse-rider team better. Starting in January 2021, she has been assisting me with appointments.
The thing that makes Jordan so special is she’s a people person. She has a lot of emotional intelligence—reading both horses and people to anticipate and solve problems quickly.
I can’t wait to see what Jordan achieves in her riding career, and she comes highly recommended as an incredibly well rounded athlete.”
